Explanation: Are square A and B the same color? They are. Are too. To verify this, click here to see them connected. The above illusion, called the same color illusion, illustrates that purely human observations in science may be ambiguous or inaccurate. Even such a seemingly direct perception as relative color. Similar illusions exist on the sky, such as the size of the Moon near the horizon, or the apparent shapes of astronomical objects. The advent of automated, reproducible, measuring devices such as CCDs have made science in general and astronomy in particular less prone to, but not free of, human-biased illusions.

Ed Colmar’s Blog: Time Slips By at ASR
The boys did it again!  I had the fortune of being present for this performance and it was mind-blowingly good.  This was definitely the best performance I’ve seen from them, and that’s really saying something.  Fully synced lighting rig as usual.  Why these guys aren’t world-famous delivering this level of quality is beyond me.

iPhone RSS Reader – News feeds for Apple - NetNewsWire By NewsGator
For iPhone users, I highly recommend Net News Wire RSS reader.  v2.0 came out recently and it is WAY better than before.  Just have to say, I’m impressed.
The UI is much slicker and better behaved than before.  A lot less crashy, and much faster to boot.
The big new feature is Net News Wire uses Google Reader to sync up feeds and feed organization now, rather than News Gator’s proprietary service.  Big bonus for those that use that Google account as well.  Everything stays in sync re: feeds, organization, read/unread items, etc.
If you enjoy using desktop clients as I do, the Net News Wire for Mac desktop client is also great.  The Google Reader UI always bothered me and seemed clunky, and in general I just like the feel of a solid desktop client when compared to its clunky webapp counterpart, but the sharing aspects of Google Reader are a bummer to miss out on when choosing to go w/ the desktop client.  With the Google Reader sync I can have my cake and eat it too.
I am in no way affiliated with this product, I just really like it.
